Red Tier allows return of indoor activity in Pasadena

City of Pasadena Moves Into Red Tier Effective Monday, March 15

Pasadena has updated their restrictions following the state announcement that California has met the vaccine equity goal. This allows public health jurisdictions in Los Angeles County, including Pasadena, to move into the red tier according to California's Blueprint for a safer Economy.

As a result, on Monday, March 15, additional activities will be permitted to occur indoors with strict adherence with the updated Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) guidelines.

What does this mean for Gameology? Well for starters our capacity increases to allow more shoppers to enter our store. Instead of our earlier restrictions of 20% and 25% capacity, we can now operate at 50% of our limit! So no more waiting to enter as too many other shoppers are inside browsing or buying.

We are also extending our hours. So we will now operate Monday through Saturday 11am to 9pm with Sunday remaining at 11am - 8pm. We expect to extend Friday and Saturday nights to 10pm shortly and hope to resume our normal operating hours sometime in April.

And of course what most of you are waiting for... Our tables will now be available for Private Gathering use! Allowing you to come and gather in our space with other persons... in person! NOTE: Tables will adhere to the maximum gathering occupancy restrictions currently set at 15, and we will enforce masks worn at all times while in our location.

IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL, OR ARE RUNNING A FEVER. DO NOT COME INTO THE STORE!!

Currently no Organized Play, Leagues, or Tournaments may occur, and persons may only use the approved tables that have been cleaned and sanitized and appropriately spaced out to ensure all distancing requirements are followed.

Hopefully Pasadena will fall to the Orange tier when eligible. This would allow more normal operation, and us to resume Organized play. At the minimum we are not be eligible to drop tiers again for 2 weeks from a previous lowering. So look forward to March 29th!
